At the tail end of May, Apple announced that their hugely anticipated VR/AR Headset is scheduled for release on June 5. Reports suggest that around 400,000-500,000, AR/VR headsets are expected to be manufactured in the latter half of this year. Research has shown that Apple emphasizes support for a wide range of internal applications, including games, video software, and office tools, possibly including collaboration features. While it is still unclear what the headset's price point will be, it’s clear that the future of AR is upon us!

In this special blog post, we will explore the benefits of AR and share how each Caddyboo product can be accessed and enjoyed with these features!

The Benefits of AR & 3D Technolgy For Consumers

The use of AR and 3D technology, in the case of highlighting Caddyboo products, was created to improve interaction with each product and give you the chance to experience them before making your purchase.

Our creative teams wanted to connect with our consumers and show them every single detail of our products: from the zero stitching element to the weight and real feel, we’ve helped many consumers complete their purchase from our AR technology.

This is a huge benefit to any potential customer or any new visitor to our store and site. It allows you to view, feel and wear each product in virtual reality. You can enjoy each product and envision how they will boost your golf game and your fashion stakes.

We are luxury with a purpose - and in this case, our purpose is to help you purchase the best quality luxury golf & lifestyle goods.

What Are The Different Types of AR?

Augmented Reality, or AR, allows people to use digital content (e.g., text, graphics, video, audio, images) in real life.

In practice, that would mean placing a digital version of our bag charm air tag on your golf bag to see how good it looks.

3D imaging is a three-dimensional visualization that enables potential customers like you to see a product as it is in real life, instead of a 2D image. This completely transforms the shopping experience for consumers - take a look here to see how.

I think you’ll agree that by using AR & 3D imaging for our products, we’ve made your shopping experience more interactive and fun!

Apple’s Announcement & Worldwide Developers Conference

Apple's 34th Worldwide Developers Conference will take place the week of June 5 to June 9, 2023, beginning with a keynote event that is set to take place at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time today, June 5th, 2023.

With WWDC, Apple offers developers a first glimpse of new iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS updates, plus the opportunity to engage with Apple engineers through engineering sessions, one-on-one lab appointments, and the Apple Developer Forums.

Not forgetting the rumors swirling that today’s WDC suggests that Apple will use the event to unveil the long-rumored AR/VR headset.
